“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” – John 3:16-18

Dear Lord Heavenly Father, You are our Immanuel according to Matthew 1:23, “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” LORD I pray that Your children will begin to be honest with You and would not forsake Your law. LORD I repent for my own disobedience and I pray that Your children would repent also. I pray that Your children would begin to cry out in the secret place and that You would destroy the yokes of sexual immorality, disobedience, pride, arrogance, self-righteousness, perversion, confusion, lust, homosexuality, adultery, pornography addiction, vanity, maniac depression, and every disorder that is unlike God. LORD I pray that You would set Your children free as in Romans 8:1-3, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,” LORD I pray that Your people are renewed with deliverance and that You would send a fresh wind of repentance, deliverance, and freedom IN THE NAME OF JESUS. LORD we thank You for dying on the cross for our sins and we love You… YOU are so excellent and so great. If any sin should hinder this prayer, I ask to be forgiven. In JESUS NAME, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

Work Out Your Salvation

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;” – Philippians 2:12

Throughout the Week

Are you a Christian on Sunday but a drunkard on Monday? Do you shout on Sunday but curse on Monday? Do you proclaim the name of Jesus at church, but at work they cannot see the light of God on you? Are you honoring the Father in your private time as well as in public?

The Father of Glory See’s All

“Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the LORD; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the LORD.” – Jeremiah 23:24

As Christians sometimes, we become distracted with the things of this world. Sometimes those things are other people. We can become so concerned about someone else’s faults, that we can forget about our own salvation. The Bible says in I Peter 4:18, “Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” It is time that we stop focusing on where everyone is falling and worry about ourselves.

We cannot preach Jesus and gossip about our neighbor. We cannot preach Jesus and operate in anger. We cannot preach Jesus and operate in the works of the flesh. As Christians we should strive daily to have fruit of the spirit as it reads in Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, Against such there is no law.”

Dear Lord Heavenly Father, Lord I pray that you order my steps as in Psalm 37:23-24, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.” Lord I pray that You uphold me. I pray that I am covered by the blood. I decree and declare Isaiah 54:17 over my life, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.” I speak right now that this week will be dedicated to the fruit of the spirit. I will be obedient, kind, and I will restore my brother or sister with the spirit of gentleness as in Galatians 6:1, “Brethren, if a man is over taken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.” If any sin should hinder this prayer, I ask that You forgive me. In Jesus name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

This Week In Ministry

“But the Lord said to me; “Do not say, “I am a youth, “For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.” – Jeremiah 1:7

“But He gives more grace. Therefore, He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6

Jesus Christ Our Lord And Savior Was Humble Because Of His Beginning

But you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah. Are not the least among the rulers of Judah: For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will Shepard My people Israel.” – Matthew 2:6

We all know that Jesus Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem. However, we miss the back drop. Jesus had to come from a humble beginning. If Jesus did not come from humbleness his ministry would not have been affective, because his pride would have gotten in the way. Jesus forgave the sinful woman in Luke 7:47 because He was HUMBLE! Jesus Christ humbleness, love, and of course DYING ON THE CROSS for our sins SAVED HUMANITY!

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” – James 4:10

Self-exhortation will never last! Exhortation by man will never last! However, if you humble yourself before the Lord … AND STAY HUMBLE then you will remain. Understand something, God does not like a prideful heart. Why? because you will try to or begin to take credit for what He has done! To be exalted by God and remain you MUST BE HUMBLE.

Understand That Ministry Is Requirement Not Entitlement

When we are put on this earth, we all have ASSIGNMENTS. We have an assignment that must come to pass. What is happening is that we are starting to confuse ministry as something that we are entitled to. Ministry is a requirement. Understand that God does not owe you anything, but we all owe God everything. You have breath in your lungs? You owe God a shout. Any limb that God has blessed you with, any financial blessings God has blessed you with, any supernatural breakthrough that God has done on your behalf makes you REQUIRED to served God.

All In All

There is this counterfeit revival of purpose sweeping the nation. The Purpose revival is allowing the Saints of God to be tricked into entitlement. Once again, God does not owe you anything. Be humble and understand that The Rapture has not happened. Do not be deceived by the Purpose Revival and understand that you need to be ready.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” – Matthew 24:36

Daily Devotion 3/10/2018

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” – Hebrews 4:15

Dear Lord Heavenly Father, Lord I thank You for the I AM WHO I AM. Lord Exodus 3:14 says, “And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.” Lord I am asking to encounter the I AM, just as Moses as encountered You in the burning bush. I am asking for You to deliver me from bondage, just as You delivered the children of Israel out of the hands of Pharaoh. Lord I want to be delivered from perversion, pornography, and every soul tie that is not of God. Lord Your Word says in Ephesians 5:8, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children light.” Lord help me to walk as a child of light. Help me to seek your face through temptation. Help me God to be delivered from everything that is unlike you. For the Bible says in Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Through My Savior Jesus Christ I decree and declare that every principality of darkness is cast down in the Name of Jesus! Lord Your Word says in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and all over the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” God, I decree and declare that I am free in the name of Jesus. Lord if any sin should hinder this prayer, I ask that you forgive me. In Jesus name I pray, thank God Amen.

Trusting God Through The Storm

“But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.” – Matthew 14:24

Contrary Winds

A little back drop of the text. Jesus disciples obeyed orders that lead them to a storm. The Word of God reads in Matthew 14:22, “And straightaway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.” The disciples were simply being obedient to Christ. The disciples were not traveling aimlessly when they encountered the storm. They were headed to their destination, Gennesaret, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So, while they were in obedience and headed to their assignment, they encountered contrary winds.

Jesus Came To Them In The Storm

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.” – Matthew 14:25

Jesus did not wait for His disciples to make it to Gennesaret to meet them. Jesus met His disciples in the middle of the storm. Never forget that God is always with you in your storm. God is not afraid to get a little wet with you in your storm. A storm is simply a testing of faith to see if your ready for your next assignment. Why? Assignments require faith therefore your faith must be tested.

Jesus Will Catch You Before You Drown

“And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? – Matthew 14:31

This text is so beautiful because it says, “immediately Jesus stretched out his hand.” God loves us so much that He refuses to waste time to save us. If you are in a middle of the storm because of obedience or because you faith walked on water, DO NOT GIVE UP! The winds are contrary because it is a testing of faith, DO NOT GIVE UP! The storm will cease and you be reminded that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is with you always.
