DATES WITH JESUS: TACOS WITH ABBA

John 3:16-17

“(16)For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

My Truth

Hosea 6:6

“(6) For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”

I am the LORD’s prophet. My entire life God has been dealing with me even when I was little God used to send me dreams of what was to come. I would be five years old and God would send me dreams of what I would color on the next week. God has always warned me and showed Himself to be true. But the truth is that I didn’t love God nor did I fear Him… Oh but did I learn…. I did not have the best upbringing I was abused, I was molested, I was bullied, and I endured toxic relationships. I am the Saul that God turned into Paul. A little over a year ago God told me He was sending me into the wilderness.. I thought it was cool, but I tested the LORD in the wilderness. In the Bible in the book of Numbers there are many stories about the children of Israel and what happened to them when they tested the LORD THY GOD…. I found it to be true… FEAR. THE. LORD.

….. lemme tell you why

Hosea 2:3

“(3) Lest I strip her naked And expose her, as in the day she was born, And make her like a wilderness, And set her like a dry land, And slay her with thirst.”

God warned me what He was going to do because I tested Him… but I AINT KNOW GOD WAS REALLY OUT HERE DESTROYING PEOPLE..

In three days…. I went from having a two bedroom apartment to being homeless sleeping in my vehicle…

I love to laugh and joke but this was very serious. I did not know what I was going to do. It was hot beyond measure and I was walking around outside thirsty and hungry because I couldn’t stay in my vehicle. I had no money for food. God took everything from me. I really wanted to make this funny and laugh but I can’t…. I pray that if you’re reading this you really fear God…

I went from having a two bedroom fully furnished apartment with food to being homeless in three days. I did not know where I was going to get my next meal. To make matters worst … I did not look homeless…. I would walk around outside at any hour of the day and I had so many men trying to talk to me… and if I was out at night they would offer me food and money… even shelter if I would just go home with them…. Many days I cried I went two days without eating hungry and thirsty …. I honestly lost count of how many men pursued me… and I turned them all down for God…

Matthew 6:33

“(33) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

In the lowest times I walked around with the Word of God and God sent Pastors to feed me until He had gave me a home… and God told me that He did not call me to beg… I almost gave up on God… it had gotten so bad that men would be driving down the road and making illegal turns to try to give me money… and I refused for Jesus… Even writing this now I’m trying not to cry because of the faithfulness of God… God is so good….

And God promised me… the men were driving luxury vehicles and I would get angry because they were blessed and God promised me that because I did not prostitute myself like a ritual harlot He would give me chariots that they could not afford…

John 3:20-21

“(20) For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. (21) But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

God love was shown throughout this wilderness…. When I finally had enough money we went on a date to get tacos and they were my favorite! LOL! Jesus and I sat down and read the Word of God and the most beautiful thing of all is that someone came back to Jesus… In the midst of our tacos God sent someone for me to minister to… The Joy Of The Lord Is My Strength

Proverbs 19:23

“(23) The fear of the LORD leads to life, And He who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.”

The truth of the matter is GOD is about to judge us and He has called us to fear Him. Many people will be homeless and laying on the streets but God wants us to repent and not to prostitute yourself but to endure and to trust Him. There is no need for prostitution when you have faith in God..

But if you do…

You will be consumed by AIDS and you will walk around with sores over your body for there is a new strand of HIV that is coming and they will not be able to afford medication.

Fear God.

Verse To Remember :

Proverbs 9:10-12, “(10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (11) For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. (12) If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone.”

Psalm 30:5, (5) For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”

Psalm 31:14-15, “(14) But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” (15) My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies.”

John 3:29-30, “(29) He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice, Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. (30) He must increase, but I must decrease.”

DATES WITH JESUS: THE WALK OF FAITH

Hosea 6 6

Psalm 91:1

“(1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Prayer Is Our Communication With God

Psalm 94:22 says,

“(22) But the LORD has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge.”

In my first book Dates With Jesus: Allowing God To Be Your Restorer I told my story. I am child abuse survivor, I have been molested, and I also was in The United States Marine Corps. I have had a rough journey and by God’s grace I made. It truly was nobody but God. I look back over my life and what I have been through and I P.R.O.M.I.S.E. you IT WAS NOBODY BUT GOD.

But there is a down side to what I have been through. I am soooooo thankful to GOD and what HE has done for me…. But GOD still has to deal with me and GOD DEALS WITH ME AS HIS CHILD as well as His prophet.

Before our date began, GOD dealt with me about The Fear Of The LORD and GOD told me to meditate on Psalm 91

Proverbs 3:11-12 reads,

“(11) My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; (12) For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.”

Psalm 91:2

“(2) I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

I used to call myself a survivor but lately God has been telling me that I am   “More Than A Conqueror”.

The Bible says in Romans 8:31-39,

“(31) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (32) He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (33) Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. (34)Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also make intercession for us. (35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (36)As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” (37) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (38)For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, (39) nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Psalm 91:3

“(3)Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.”

One things GOD DOES NOT LIKE IS FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE HIS GLORY.

The Word of GOD says in Psalm 24:8,

“(8) Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.

GOD IS THE KING OF GLORY and GOD DOES NOT SHARE HIS GLORY.

For it is written in Exodus 20:3,

“(3) You shall have no other gods before Me.

With that being said sometimes we forgot that what GOD says comes before what the doctor says, the teacher, the landlord, your parents, or anyone else…. Sometimes even you. What GOD says is final and you cannot change the mind of GOD FOR THERE HAS BEEN ONLY ONE TIME THAT GOD HEEDED THE VOICE OF A MAN ACCORDING TO

Joshua 10:14,

“(14) And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD heeded the voice of man; for the LORD fought for Israel.”

On this date I learned to FEAR THE LORD AND TO HEED HIS VOICE BECAUSE HE WILL PROTECT YOU

For it is written

Proverbs 9:10,

“(10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Psalm 91:4

“(4)He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”

There are three incidents that happened while on this date that reminded me that GOD IS KING OF KING AND LORD OF LORDS according to Revelation 19:16,

“(16) And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Incident One:

I was walking and talking to my Abba and suddenly God told me, Be still and pray.”

I obeyed I said the LORD’S PRAYER in Matthew 6:9-13,

“(9) In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. (10) Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is heaven. (11) Give us this day our daily bread. (12) And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. (13) And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

I continued to walk after being still and a big van flew past me and a part of the wheel flew off and completely missed me… GOD IS SO GOOD.

Psalm 91:5

“(5)You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day.”

Incident Two:

I continued on my walk and God told me, “Be still and pray.” Again I obeyed. This time I prayed John 3:16,

“(16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Along with the LORD’S PRAYER IN Matthew 6:9-13,

“(9) In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. (10) Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is heaven. (11) Give us this day our daily bread. (12) And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. (13) And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

I continued on my walk and began to talk to GOD, suddenly two cars collided and one car was pushed on the side walk…. Only a few feet ahead of me. I GAVE GOD HIS GLORY! HE SAVED ME WHEN HE TOLD ME TO PRAY!

Psalm 91:6,

“(6) Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”

Incident Three:

Psalm 29:1-2,

“(1) GIVE unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, Give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

I began to worship the LORD for all HE HAD DONE and I continued to walk when suddenly two big dogs came without a leash. Immediately GOD SPOKE and said, “Be still.”  GOD reminded me that HE did not give me the spirit of fear and that I did not have to worry according to 2 Timothy 1:7,

“(7)For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

I obeyed and the dogs stared at me for a moment and then went away.

Psalm 91:7,

“(7) A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.”

GOD IS A PROTECTOR. I am reminded of a verse in Proverbs 19:23,

“(23)The fear of the LORD leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.”

When we fear and reverence GOD He will protect us because we understand that HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY. God will protect us and keep us if we keep His commandments according to John 14:13-18,

“(13) And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14) If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (15) If you love Me, keep My commandments. (16) And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- (17) the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive , because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells within you and will be in you. (18)I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

Psalm 91:8

“(8)Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.”

As children of God we must rejoice and being GOD’S children. No, we don’t do certain things but that does not mean our lives are burdens. We must stop comparing ourselves to people who do not know the LORD and we have to trust GOD. Pray for those who do not know the LORD so that they may be saved.

Psalm 34:17,

“(17) The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.”

Psalm 91:9-16

“(9)Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place. (10) No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; (11)For  He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. (12)In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. (13) You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. (14)Because he has set his love upon Me, there I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. (15) He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. (16) With long life I will satisfy him, And show him my salvation.”

GOD showed me that He is a Psalm 91 GOD. On this date I learned many things… Prayer is so important….more important that I knew because it stops the plans of the enemy…. GOD IS SO FAITHFUL even we are undeserving…. OH HOW I LOVE JESUS!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ Also… It’s not about money… GOD just wants to spend time with us .. HE WANTS US TO LOVE HIM!

Hosea 6:6,

“(6) For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”

Verses To Remember:

Romans 14:1, “(1) Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.”

Luke 24:7, “(7) saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”

Ezekiel 20:12, “(12) Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them.”

IHOP WITH A SIDE OF PANCAKES

Dates With Jesus

IHOP WITH A SIDE OF PANCAKES

“But the Lord said to me: ‘Do not say, I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you; And whatever I command you, you shall speak.” – Jeremiah 1:7

A Cool Fact About Me

I love pancakes and I love breakfast food. I can eat breakfast food during any time of the day. When God said this was our date I thought it was a great choice and I was flattered. God really wanted to sit down and spend time with me. These past few months have been so busy regarding ministry and school. I truly believe that God chose this to settle my spirit and it was needed. The Word of God says in Psalm 131:1, “Lord, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty, Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me.” This date reminded me to pray more and worry less.

When God Speaks Life

“Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.” – Jeremiah 1:8

This date was so beautiful and intimate because God was truly speaking life to me. When God assigns you to something major it is not easy. Sometimes God will speak a word into your life, when your life looks the exact opposite of what is destined to come to pass. Sometimes the enemy will even trick you to believing your youth disqualifies you from the assignment on your life. God, in a way that was so profound, reminded me that He is God and He has the final say. Why? Because He is God. I am reminded of a verse in Psalm 91:11-12, “(11) For He shall give his angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. (12) In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.” On this date God reminded that He truly is the Alpha and Omega and God is with me. No matter what He has assigned me to do, there are angels protecting me and covering me. I also realized that no matter what is going on in my life financially, spiritually, and emotionally it is so important to spend time with God. It is important to give God his tenth. ESPECIALLY, if you are a single man or woman.

When You Decide to Date Jesus

Understand that the enemy is going to try to steal your joy so that you look at the Dates With Jesus as a burden.

This date did not almost happen. We all have responsibilities. When you add up bills, rent, insurance, TITHING (yall need to tithe), and then daily expenses you slightly begin to question if the date is worth it. I am telling you it is! That time you spend with God alone (in public) and enjoying his company is sooooo refreshing and uplifting. GOD pushed me to the date and reminded me that He wanted to spend time with me. He is such a GOOD FATHER and come to find out God led me to a deal! There was a great deal on pancakes ! My food (with a refill of pancakes) was under $25.

It Will Always Work Out For Your Good

So the night before I went to the gym and I was tired when I left. The next day I knew Jesus and I had time that we needed to spend with each other. He picked my outfit, told me how He wanted my hair, and He even told me how He wanted my makeup. I felt like His choice of my outfit was amazing.

Well… the thing is I completely forget my wallet in the gym! I was so worried, it took me a moment to realize where it was. I looked at home it wasn’t there. However, I prayed and told God that I trusted him. I went to my car, I did not see my wallet but all the items that were most important were already in my car! He told me, “No one was has taken anything. Your wallet is protected.”

After praying, I felt the Holy Spirit lead me back to the gym. I went to the gym and there my wallet was! Just sitting there waiting for me! Literally in the same place I left it. It worked out for my good because I wanted to take a picture with good lighting. I believe God allowed that little hiccup, so my picture could be blessed! Lol (because of God) I was able to take a better picture at the gym. Moral of the story, your hiccup will turn out for your good… PRAY and let GOD MOVE. 😊

Give God 100 percent of your time

If I was on my phone it is because God led me to look at something I needed to see. When dating Jesus, give Him your time! Don’t be entertaining foolishness while you are Dating God. We give so much of our time to things of this world. If you are single, this is the time to truly develop an intimacy with Christ and allow him to love you to life!

Final Words

Dating God is more than preparing for your wife or husband. Although, I am single I have accepted that this is the time to allow God to purge me and deliver me from everything that stems from toxic relationships that I have had in the past. I used to date Jesus for a husband… but now it so different.

When I started this journey in August 2017 I never would have thought my mind, my heart, and my soul would be in the peaceful position that it is now. I know for a fact it is because I was obedient and took time to date God. God has changed me.

I remember when I used to be ashamed to open my bible in public, now I sit there, highlight, and I’ll even take notes and truly enjoy this time that I am spending with Christ. I have realized that being single is not a burden. The Word of God says in 1 Corinthians 7:4, “The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.”

When you are married you are under submission to your spouse and God forbid you are under submission to a spouse that does not know God. When you are single this is the time to work, be obedient, and do everything that you possibly can do to satisfy God. Singleness is not a burden or a curse. Singleness is a blessing and if you enjoy your blessing it will be for a season. Let your singleness be the time that you date the Lord.

All in All

I truly enjoyed this date God choose for us, it was great. I enjoyed every pancake and moment that I was able to spend with my Father. He made my life ❤

Verses To Remember:

John 14:18 – “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

John 14: 20 – “At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”

DATES WITH JESUS: JACK IN THE BOX

“All It Takes Is A Word From The LORD.”

The-Passion-of-The-Christ

Soooo… I kinda like died…

I had been very ill and I was dying. I was at home and I was so sick I was on the couch and I asked God, “Am I dying?” So…. God told me, “Go to the bathroom and bathe in cold water.” So I obeyed, but while I was walking I collapsed. I started losing control of my body and I knew I was dying. I thought to myself, “I just want to sleep.”

But then….

I heard God say, “No.”

I said, “I just want to sleep.”

And Again God said , “No.”

He spoke over me and gave me the strength to go the tub.

Afterwards

I laid on the couch and went to sleep… but I was so hungry.. God told me  He wanted me to go on a Date With Him to Jack In The Box…. So when I awoke ….  I got dressed (only by His strength) and I went. I could not drive because I did not have strength, so I walked. Less than 24 hours before, I was losing control of my body and dying on the floor…. And before I knew it I was walking to Jack In The Box….

John 11:4,

“(4) When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

How God Took Care Of Me

So I went to Jack In The Box, as The Lord Commanded and I entered and GOD gave me what I desired… FRENCH FRIES… I love French Fries and after my encounter with the LORD I was hungry… but something else happened.

I did not have much energy and I was very weak and fragile.. I placed my order and GOD just kept me telling me , “Don’t not worry.”

He Told Me This Because …

I love BAR B QUE SAUCE… and I was so tired but yet determined to have BAR B QUE SAUCE with my fries.. and I was looking for it and

God said, “What are you looking for?”

I replied, “BAR B QUE sauce for my fries.”

God said, “Don’t worry. Go to the table.”

So I continue to walk trusting Him and I was about to sit at a table and God said, “No. Go to the other table…”

So I obeyed..

And when I looked at the other table…. Yall….

THERE WAS BAR B QUE SAUCE.

But it gets better…

I was sitting down….. and I had no energy and I said, “Abba. I don’t have the energy to go get my food.”

God said, “Do not worry.”

A moment later they brought the food to my table…

Instantly this was me

THE TRUTH

GOD RAISES PEOPLE FROM THE DEAD

John 11:43-44

“(43) Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” (44) And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

I am not being dramatic. I am not going to go into much detail but I am telling you I was dying … I don’t know how long how I was passed out.. all I heard was God say, “No.” and He woke me up.

If you are reading this and you are bound God is able to deliver you.. do not accept what people think .. Don’t accept cancer… The LORD has been dealing with me about chemo therapy patients. We have to get to a point where we trust GOD more than a doctor. When I died I did not have a doctor to bring me back all I heard was the voice of the LORD … If you are battling cancer all you need is the LORD to speak over you.

JESUS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE

John 3:16-17

“(16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO THE FATHER IS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. I DO NOT CARE WHAT JOEL OSTEEN OR OPRAH SAID THE ONLY WAY IS JESUS

John 14:6-7

“(6) Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (7) If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

I AM NOT PERFECT and I have had my doubts but I took death for me to see that GOD is real and I repent for doubting Him.

I LOVE THE LORD

Matthew 10:32-33

“(32) Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. (33) But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father in heaven.”

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

I WILL SHOUT IN A MINUTE FOR THE LORD, but people always made me feel bad for not being politically correct and not quiet enough for JESUS… WELL I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU BECAUSE GOD LITERALLY DELIVERED ME FROM DEATH WE COULD BE IN TACO BELL GOD GON GET A PRAISE .

Dates With Jesus: A Effortless Love

“But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God.” – Ruth 1:16 (New King James Version)

Renewed

I had decided to let it go. I had decided to trust God. I had decided to follow Jesus. I was at a place in my life, where I tried to make my own path and it just didn’t work. God had given me instructions, but for some odd reason I thought my way was better… and I learned. God way is not only better, but it is RIGHT. Guess what? My way was WRONG. Here I was coming to God in desperate need to be renewed and purged from my disobedience.

No More Distractions

“If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” – Matthew 5:29

During the creation of my own path, I encountered something….. DISTRACTIONS! I encountered people who did not need to be in my life… People who claimed to love the LORD, but were ultimately hindering me from my walk with CHRIST. Those distractions allowed me to realize something….. I’M NOT GOING TO HELL. NOPE! IM NOT DOING IT FOR ANYONE BECAUSE I WANT TO BE WITH THE LORD (He got air conditioning in heaven and this is how I will be Heaven… chillin’… minding my business)

Angel-2_credit-public-domain

Distractions allowed me to realize that I love GOD more than I love people… and you will be cut off if you hinder my walk with the LORD. Yeah I said it… In 2018… I’m livin’ right… and I’m living right for JESUS.

EFFORTLESS

On this date, the LORD and I went to IHOP and had an amazing breakfast….. And You know what? It was EFFORTLESS! There was no drama from distractions… There was no envy, hatred, malice, arguing, depression, or anger on this date…. IT WAS ONLY PEACE. We know that The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace in Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” On this date I experienced the Prince of Peace and I gave Him full reign.

He Will Give You Peace

If you are in a situation where your safety is in danger due to a relationship, it is time to go. No one should be in a relationship where someone is constantly cursing at you, disrespecting you, calling you out of your name, or physically abusing you. It does not matter even if they claim to know the LORD and they are behaving this way… Do not be fooled by empty words according to Ephesians 5:6-10, “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the LORD.” No more deception, if you are in a toxic relationship that is pulling you away from the LORD, its time to go. Know that Jesus will give You peace that surpasses all understanding as in Philippians 4:7, “and the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

God LOVES You ❤

I love You

I trusted God to give me Holy Ghost directions and allow him to lead me to a lovely restaurant in San Pedro , Ca called Port O’ Call.  Now I live a few hours away so me and the Lord planned a lovely trip .. When planning trips with the Lord I have three recommendations

1. Use Wisdom

Try to make sure someone knows where you are going , especially when you are alone. We in the end times fam .. They wild out here.

2. Plan Plan Plan

Because I am prior military I have the luxury of staying on some base hotels so the hotel was affordable . Try to plan so you can save money . Groupon ? Is lit . Military Hotels ? Is lit. Also , a wonderful hotel app that I learned from Heather Lindsey’s blog post “How To Travel The World For Free “ titled Hotel App … Is also… LIT ! So try to plan

3. Ball On A Budget

Look ion know about you but uhmmmm… Money can be a little funny. Whenever I go somewhere God has a budget for me . So please Ball On A Budget .. Why ? Because God want’s us to be a good steward with our money because he has to trust us with little before he can give us many *Luke 16-10*… so please … Ball on a budget .

God led me here

And when I say he lead me it wasn’t a go look on google and .. nah like I really got in my car had no idea where I was going and just let God led me. Sometimes me and Jesus play a game where I turn off my phone and my GPS and let Him guide me to where I need to be .. I recommend this because this is a good way to train your spirit and your ear to be in tune with the holy spirit.. I aint gon’ lie to you.. I’ve gotten lost a few times but God would either lead me to someone who can give me directions OR he’ll be like Ok daughter turn your Gps on .. you need it Lol! On this night however, he took me right there.. I didn’t get lost.

He picked my outfit

YES ! I allow the Lord to dress me on my dates !! I have always struggled with modesty because of who I used to be in the world , self-esteem , and because I am a more developed woman .. ALSO , I struggled because of religion… Church people would condemn me about how I looked but I didn’t like the way they dressed me … So you know what I do ? I let God do it. He tells me how he wants my hair (which is why I took the weave out) , How he wants my make-up annnnnddddd He picks my outfit ! And he lets me wear heels because he know ! I likes to be poppin’.

Anyways… back to the date or whadeva

So we roll up and God did tell me that he wants me to spend twenty dollars .. So I see the restaurant and im like …..

B4hBmmMCcAI4CTO

Uhmm .. but then I was like you know what ? Imma trust the Lord and imma get a appetizer  . So I go inside and the restaurant niccceeee yalll then I hear the Lord tell me go sit at a seat outside … So im like ok and im thankful because the Lord told me to bring my sweater with me (He’s such a good father). I walk outside and he leads me to a seat in the cut away from everyone else and im like “Ok Lord.. I aint that dark but you know Im black and  its night time… They gon’ see me?”

God was like “If you don’t sit down!”

I was like “ Ok jesus ”

 I had to be delivered

“A fools wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame”- Proverbs 12:16

So im sitting down and God tells me pull out my laptop and start writing so I did… 10 mins past… so im looking at the time like uhmmm I know they see me.. God start calming me down but the Devil hypin’ me up . You know already God won that .. 5 more mins pass.. I look up and see a waiter make eye contact … and then walk away… then I hear the devil say … “POP OFF” then God like “KEEP WRITING”

so im like wheeewwwww they better be glad im saved.. Then the Lord begins to deal with me and I am reminded “Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me “ – Psalm 131:2 … And my soul was instantly calmed and quieted.

After I was calmed and quieted the Lord told me to politely go tell them that I had been waiting for a while and no one had served me .. AND he told me to be gentle in my spirit *1 Peter 3:4*, smile , and accept their apology and that’s exactly what I did.. They apologized and they gave me EXCELLENT service afterwards and the situation had been addressed the sanctified and Christ-like way .

     As I am ordering

God tells me what he wants me to get .. He first told me to get crab cakes and two glasses of water (because I do get water for him.. You know he be working hard all day he might be thirsty) . So im like that’s cool im on my budget so we cool… So then God tell me order a glass of wine… Im like.. uhmm .. that’s 8 dollars Lord ? Why has thou forsaken me ??? *Matthew 27:56*

IMG_5383

When the wine comes God does instruct me to pour some of the water into the wine glass so I can filter it (which is good because I don’t drink and never really did so I have to be careful)So im like alright Lord… We getting’ close to the line now.. Then he tells me to order some Pasta…

IMG_5385

Im like ok now… Ok now Jesus.. But once again I calmed and quieted my soul – Psalm 131:2

Next Thing I Know

The manager comes up and apologizes for the service and asked me if there was anything he could do ? I politely tell him I am fine. He repeats his apology.. I do ask for some bread doe.. I was hungry (and that jawnt was free…its lit)

IMG_5386

. So as I am getting ready to leave the amazing waitress that I had told me the manager deducted $19.00 from my tab and guess how much my bill was ? $43.00 … guess how much I paid ? $24.00….

On this date I learned to trust God

I trusted God with how much he wanted me to spend , how he wanted me to dress , and where he wanted me to go… Now what I need to learn is to not talk back.. He working on me..

Some tips for your date

–        Please note that God wants us to be a good steward with our money , he wants us to be responsible , and use wisdom.. Pray before you leave and let God deal with you

–        Yes I drank wine… I don’t have a issue with drinking.. I battle other things but that’s not it.. SO ! If you have a issue with drinking and sobriety I DO NOT recommend you drinking .. Look… I got a lot to answer to on judgement day… That won’t be one of them.

–        ALSO ! IF YOU ARE UNDERAGE…. Don’t even play with me.. I’m not telling you to drink

–        Also , I recommend brining your own towels to a hotel . I’ve noticed some things at  some hotel I was staying at but some other hotels as well. I felt like God lead me to bring my own towel.. So just a recommendation.

–        Finally remember “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.. That whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life”- John 3:16 .. The dates you go on with Him are for Him to teach you , heal you , and open your eyes to what you need to be delivered from. Enjoy your date but please understand that this date is going to teach you and open your eyes to a lot of stuff that God wants you to be  delivered from.. So receive it and understand that he is doing it because he loves you …

Alright Fam… Be Blessed

Dinner and a Movie

How this came about
Look… this was not planned…. AT ALL… God had been dealing with me for a while about taking the first steps to actually date him. At one time I actually obeyed him and went somewhere to be alone and spend time with him… But see what happened was… I had a little boo on the side right ? And yeah lets just say me and Jesus dates wasn’t it after that.. But since that relation with that young man ended (notice how I didn’t throw shade ? Take notes. You know you’re getting over someone the right way when you aint gotta throw shade) anyways… since it ended God has been really pricking my little heart to start spending time with him.. I agreed to spending time with him but I was procrastinating. God would be like “Let’s go out” and I’ll be like “oooohhh…. Mhmm.. see .. Father God.. the way these bills set up ?” like I didn’t just drop a undisclosed amount on my hair and nails.

I was actually surprised
I was sitting in my living room and God told me to go to the movies at 7 … I wasn’t that excited about that at all.. if you read my blog title “He took me on a date : things to watch out for “ you would know why . As I began to research the movie he wanted me to see , which was the movie LEAP, I actually got kind of excited . It was a kids movie but hey I figured the Lord wanted to keep it holy.

Leap-movie-2017

He gave me a pep talk
Like I said before in my previous blog , I was a little insecure. I had just taken my weave out and was wearing my natural hair. Not only that but GOD actually chose my outfit ! It was cute but I just wasn’t used to looking how he wanted me to. Yet he still reminded me that I am beautiful. He told me to stop talking down on myself and when I say things like I don’t like my hair, or I’m ugly , or other mean things to myself that I am basically saying that about God because he created me. So to all the souls reading this… Don’t let the devil play with your mind about how you look… You’re beautiful and you’re made in his image.

Not only did he tell me how nice I looked the whole night but he also told me to grab my coat because he knows I get cold easily (and yaaallll he was right ! It was cold up in there!) Also , the movie he picked was so lit. He literally talked to me the whole movie (which was amazing becauseeeeeeeee I be talking to lol we was chattin it up)

I see why he wanted me to watch LEAP… It was bomb and lemme tell you why.
So…. You know everything God does is strategic and intentional. The God that we serve makes NO … I mean NOOOO mistakes (despite what our human minds tells us). Let me give you this tea on the movie LEAP and why God wanted me to watch it .. its about to get lit.
– So the background of this movie is about two orphans ( a boy and a girl) and they’re bestfriends. The girl dream is to be a ballet dancer and the boy wants to be a engineer. They basically runaway to Paris to chase their dreams after everyone told them nah they couldn’t do it (and I mean people was really hatin’ aye but they let they haters be they motivators)
– So when they got to their location something ended up happening and they got separated and she had to go the academy by herself ( IN OTHER WORDS EVERYONE CANT GO WITH YOU TO THE NEXT LEVEL… im about to preach *swerves around the usher & runs into the pulpit*)
– The instructor at the academy kept… I MEAN kept trying to get rid of this girl but he couldn’t because something just kept happening to the other dancers and she remained (in other words…see….. the devil tryna take some of yall out OOOHHHH BUT THE GOD THAT WE SERVE EEHHKOHBAHSEAHHH!! )
– She wasn’t the best at the academy but she somehow someway  ended up with someone to instruct her so she could be the best (see… God will make provision for you ! if you trust him !!!! The favor of the Lord is on your life *Im about to shout…hold my wig* )
– She came across this boy at the academy and he was distracting her (watch out fo’ dem distractions)
– She was training with her ballet teacher and the teacher was wearing her out okayyyy?? And the girl wanted to stop and rest … but you know what the teacher said to her ? (get ready for a praise break) “Its when you’re tired that you start to progress” (I……FEEL……GOD) Another thing .. there was this super duper hard dance move that she wanted to try.. but her teacher dropped this on her she said “It’s a difference when you’re ready and ready to do it well” (*cues praise break* *breathes heavily into mic**inhales deeply**sweats profusely* *and says* “yall don’t like the way that I talk’)
– Get this now… this when the tea got good.. see that distraction ? popped back up and had her out late and she missed her moment. (see I can relate to this… what do you do when you feel like you missed what God had for you because of your own poor decisions?)
– “No matter what happens never give up, if you never leap you’ll never know what it means to fly” – maaaannn let me tell you about Jesus… do you know that after this girl got distracted and missed her moment.. That God still came through and gave her another chance ??? (im about to have church all by myself)
– At the end of the movie guess what ? she had to battle the enemy to achieve her destiny and she won..
God sent a message through a kids movie… and I was literally about to cry

See the reason why this movie was so on time and significant

Is because I know what it feels like to miss your moment because of your own decisions… I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and accept that you are in the situation you’re in because of the choices YOU made… Oh but I also know about God’s grace… I know that he’s married to the backslider..and I know the heavens rejoice over that one lost sheep… So the moral of my date night with Jesus story.. is that he told me to trust him and Leap… Don’t get it twisted …. We still went and got some food after though… he know I be hungry. We went to chipotle 😊                     Chipotle_Brandon.jpeg.jpeg
