Morning Devotion : The Lord is my Strength

Morning Devotion

6:45 a.m. (PDT)


“I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? (2) My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth” – Psalm 121:1-2


Lord even in my times in distress you are always near me . When it feels like you are far away that’s when you are the closet. When it feels like you are far away that is when I am the closet to my breakthrough. (3)He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.(4)Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.(Psalm 121:3-4) Lord I may grow weary but you never will. You will not rest until I receive the blessings that you have for my life. I must stay in your will , be obedient , and remain faithful in well doing to receive the fullness of the blessings you have for me.(5)The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand,(6)The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.(Psalm 121:5-6) Lord let me be reminded that you are the  very foundation and door keeper to salvation(John 10:3)Also, the protector of my soul. Therefore, No weapon formed against me shall prosper(Isaiah 54:17) and I do not have to worry about the Terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day(Psalm 91:5)   (7)The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.(8)The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.(Psalm 121:7-8) Lord keep me and rock me in your arms. Keep me near the cross. Remind me to pick up my cross daily and follow you(Luke 9:23) For you are the way the truth and the light(John 14:6). Your love for me extends wider than the pacific on both ends of the earth. I love you Lord. Amen.
